The player's role is a newly-hired night-guard who must survive until 6AM as characters from both the Sonic and Mario franchises in the establishment turn evil after-hours. It is a fan-game based on the popular indie title Five Nights at Freddy's and thus shares extremely similar game-play mechanics and story elements. Five Nights at Sonic's is the first game in the Five Nights at Sonic's series, developed by TheCyVap.
